You will identify any problems in the system, anticipate issues and repair systems and software when necessary.  The Day-to-Day: Oversees the installation, configuration and maintenance of server systems, personal computers, wireless networking, server racks and other related equipment, devices and systems. Troubleshoots systems and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties. Researches, recommends and designs infrastructure for servers and associated systems. Implements policies, administers firewall, applies public key encryption to network applications, manage host security and file permissions. Participates in the evaluation and makes recommendations regarding the purchase of computers, server hardware, peripheral equipment and software. Works as a hands-on team member and supervisor with other technical staff, such as Helpdesk, security, development and reporting. support technicians to ensure connectivity and compatibility between systems. Acts as the liaison between System Administration team and all internal and external customers Ensures compliance with industry standards, methodologies, and expectations of work for System Administration and Helpdesk Teams. Performs additional related tasks and projects as required and assigned. Qualifications and ExperienceRequired Skills: Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and urgent situations Ability to effectively communicate in a professional and courteous manner Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively with a team Ability to communicate objectives and manage to completion of objectives Ability to document processes, design patterns and procedures for the SA team Excellent analytical skills Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity and availability Develop and implement database strategies, including database design, capacity planning, and disaster recovery Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning Troubleshoot database-related issues and implement solutions Perform database upgrades and migrations as necessary Create and maintain documentation related to system and database configuration, procedures, and best practices Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills Steadfast commitment to exceptional customer service Experience with two or more of the following: Servers Storage Network Data Center Management Helpdesk Vmware   Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years’ experience, or 5+ years’ experience related specifically to System/Network Administration   The Perks: Career growth and learning opportunities    Tiered bonus system based on team accomplishments    Full menu of benefits including a matched 401k   Paid time off as well as paid holidays  CMR is a 2023 The Oklahoman Top Workplaces winner!      Pre-employment drug screenings and criminal background checks are mandatory CMR is an Equal Opportunity Employer
