Job DetailsJob Location: CORP - Oklahoma City, OK 73134Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: Bachelor's degree or Relative ExperTravel Percentage: As RequiredJob Shift: AnyThis full-time, on-site System Administrator role in our Oklahoma City corporate office is responsible for ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient operation of end‑user devices and core IT systems. Working closely with the Tech Support Specialist, the System Administrator provides escalated technical support, maintains both on‑premises and cloud-based Microsoft environments, and proactively improves user uptime through effective system maintenance, troubleshooting, and implementation of new capabilities. The position plays a key role in managing servers, networking systems, virtualization platforms, and enterprise tools while supporting ITSM functions and security best practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with maintenance and secure configuration of servers, firewalls, wired and wireless networking systems including regular patch management.
Help manage and optimize ITSM activities using ITIL best practices including service desk, service request & incident management, IT asset management, knowledge management, and problem management.
Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, monitoring, and reliable operation of server hardware, virtualization platforms and peripheral systems such as VOIP phone systems, multi-function printers, Wi-Fi
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues by running diagnostics, researching documentation, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing the impact of issues.
Help maintain Entra (Azure AD) hybrid environment
Other IT duties as assigned
QualificationsRequired Qualifications/Experience:
Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, System Administration, Computer Science, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required
3 to 5 years’ experience in a SysAdm or similar role required
Experience with on-premises and cloud-based Microsoft (MS) systems and tools especially Active Directory, Entra/AzureAD, Exchange Online, and other MS 365 management tools
Endpoint and mobile device management experience with tools such as Intune, MECM, Jamf, or similar
Experience with Microsoft Server in virtualized environments
Experience with Microsoft domain services, Active Directory functionalities, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
A+, Security+, Network+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), MCP and/or other relevant security/OS/network certifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Respectful, empathetic customer-centered support skills. Ability to translate end-user requirements into appropriate technical action
Experienced in editing clear, succinct, engaging technical knowledge base articles, policies, and procedures using modern digital editing tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
Must be willing and able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance
US Citizen
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
Advanced experience with VMWare virtualization platform, or equivalent
Advanced Linux OS experience
MS Cloud certifications
Experience with VEEAM backup software, WatchGuard and SonicWall networking equipment, Dell Servers
Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity standards laid out in NIST-800-171, DFARS, and CMMC, FedRAMP, etc.
Experience in the DoD, aerospace industry, and/or a technical support role
Candidate must possess a smart mobile phone capable of receiving SMS messages and using modern apps. Must have a high-speed data connection at home.
