About the Role

As a Sr IT Analyst here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be responsible for providing support for various projects and initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans, ensuring that all engineering requirements are met.

 

 

In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of our engineering IT operations. You will be responsible for providing guidance and support to resolve complex issues and driving improvements in our operations excellence processes.

You will report directly to our Director IT and you’ll work on a hybrid work schedule out of our Phoenix, Arizona site. Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Operations Excellence:

  • Financial Planning – Own and manage AOP planning for the Engineering IT tower, including budgeting, forecasting, variance tracking and cost optimization initiatives, ensuring with corporate and Business objectives.
  • Drive financial forecasting accuracy by reconciling planned vs Actuals, budget transfers, chargebacks, renewals and reallocating unused funds to optimize spending.
  • Establish governance across contracts by validating SOWs negotiating cost and perform analysis on the O&M spend and achieve productivity targets.
  • Conduct data analysis and provide actionable insights through dashboards and variance reports on O&M spending, identifying trends to help reduce purchased services costs and support strategic decision-making by implementing proactive governance measures.
  • Financial forecasting for Invest Projects and headwinds support costs for multiple projects to evaluate M&A effect
  • Supplier Governance - Lead supplier governance to ensure our support partner is adhering to contract terms, & ensuring that SBGs receives the services at agreed service levels
  • Contract and License Management - Lead the management of Contracts and Licenses for the team with the Service owners.
  • Data & Analytics: Provide Insights into data and provide executive leadership for decision making
  • Stakeholder Management & Communication: Facilitate MORs, All hands, Business reviews, change management, Dashboards, Reports, Staff meetings, QBRs, Align Business IT, Finance and other stakeholders. 
  • Support Chief of Staff on strategic initiatives, Handle cross-functional coordination, Drive follow-ups on critical asks
  • Driving Tower CMDB accuracy, & completeness to effectively manage changes, minimize risk of service disruptions, & help optimize IT resources & investments

 

 

Program Governance:

  • Act as the driver of Tower Ops Excellence, focusing on various aspects of IT Ops to help reduce risks, improve service levels, & ensure Eng services are delivered to SBGs with greater agility
  • AOP & Demand Management - Assess the ideas approved in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), ensure the completeness of artifacts and track them till the project conversion
  • IT Data Governance - Ensuring high data quality, consistency in IT PPM for informed decision-making and improved project outcomes
  • Project Execution - Monitor project progress, ensure the actual project expenditure against the budget, identifying assessing and mitigating risks, evaluating progress against milestones
  • Benefits Management - Track the benefits submitted with each invest project and ensure the realized benefits are submitted
  • IT Applied Labor - Monitor applied labor. Ensuring the projects allocate internal labor as per the forecast. Review the labor allocations to make sure the resources are not overloaded.
  • Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department
