As a Sr Advanced Test Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be part of a team that designs, develops, integrates, and maintains highly complex test consoles used for testing reaction wheels and control moment gyros. You will be integral in creating solutions that meet the evolving needs of our products.
As a part of the Special Test Equipment team, you will impact the company’s success through the delivery of test engineering products to meet the needs of production as well as new product development. In this role, you will contribute in both the technical and project management aspects including, but not limited to, the following:

You will report to the Sr Systems Eng Manager and work 100% onsite at our Glendale, AZ site.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Electronics
- Design digital and analog signal conditioning circuits
- Select COTs hardware to be utilized in test consoles
- Complete drawings to document design of test consoles
- Support build of test consoles
- Mentor, train and support electrical technicians assigned to test consoles assembly and sustainment.
- Software
- Software development in LabVIEW for manufacturing test
- Development & governance of configuration management system of test console release for manufacturing
- Identify architecture efficiencies and implement software improvement actions as necessary.
- Engineering/Other
- Manage and release engineering packages as required through the development and sustaining lifecycles.
- Develop schedule, communicate risks & manage on-time delivery to milestones according to a program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
- Development of test system with DfX considerations
- Administer issues from identification through the triage and debug states to permanent corrective action (for both hardware and software).
- Travel: up to 5%
