Position Overview
International is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer
This role will be responsible for planning, implementing and managing compliance of manufacturing and production processes with internal and external safety, quality and regulatory standard requirements for worldwide distribution.
Design methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment and finished products.
Performs analysis of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary.
May assure compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards (i.e., ISO, or other mfg stds).
As International Motors continues to grow in San Antonio, we are expanding our production operations with the introduction of a night production shift. The night shift is Monday through Thursday from 5:30 PM to 4:00 AM, with production planned to begin in early 2027. This is a salaried position supporting a manufacturing operation. While the primary schedule aligns with the designated production shift, employees are expected to provide operational support as needed to meet business objectives. This may require working outside normal production hours, including extended shifts, production startup activities, recovery efforts, and occasional weekend support based on operational requirements.
Shift Differential: 10% differential upon transitioning to Night Shift work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Managing Root Cause Analysis requests from customers and/or suppliers
- Examining and determining actions for non-conforming materials
- Attending and representing organization in production meetings
- Using problem solving tools to ensure root cause correction
- Evaluate and/or use technical equipment or train members on usage
- Understand and able to conduct regular product/process audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Develop and implement Quality procedures to ensure compliance with ISO9001 and Headquarter requirements
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes and quality system
- Reporting KPIs to management and present in large cross functional group settings
- Plan, conduct, and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality
- Collaborate with operation teams to identify areas for quality improvement
- Assist in the development of training material for quality assurance and other departmentsManaging

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of Engineering and Quality Assurance experience
OR
- Master's degree and no experience
OR
- At least 3 years of Engineering and Quality Assurance experience

Desired Skills
- Knowledge and proficiency in using problem solving tools, quality tools, and working within prescribed quality systems
- Able to be self-manage and work with colleagues well within the plant, suppliers and customers
- Familiar with new model launches and the role that Quality completes during new model
- Understanding line calls and how to control incoming stock, the production line and the shipping area
- Proficient with Office 365 tools, with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
