Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to lead the planning and execution of automated testing initiatives while driving continuous improvement of our quality assurance practices. In this role, you will play a key part in safeguarding product quality, and championing best-in-class QA standards across the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of all testing efforts across products
- Collaborate with and lead cross-functional teams to achieve shared project objectives
- Design, develop, and complete both manual and automated test cases and scripts
- Build automated tests employing frameworks such as Cypress/Taiko
- Create reusable, modular scripts that can be applied across multiple automated test suites
- Review test cases and procedures to validate coverage and alignment with business requirements
- Complete testing activities in accordance with the test plan and overall project goals
- Communicate testing progress, results, and findings clearly and on time
- Continuously evaluate and enhance QA practices, including authoring and maintaining process documentation and guidelines
- Conduct impact analysis and regression testing for software changes
- Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and QA methodologies, and actively share knowledge with the broader team
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of combined QA and development experience
- Strong proficiency in test automation and scripting.
- In-depth understanding of QA activities across all phases of the SDLC
- Hands-on experience with either of Selenium, Cypress or Taiko
- Experience with API testing using Swagger/Postman
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Angular
- Experience testing across multiple platforms, browsers, and mobile devices using AWS testing tools
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation abilities
Preferred Qualities:
- Prior QA/Development experience in a product development environment
- Functional knowledge of Digital Marketing domains
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues quickly
- Strong time management skills and ability to take full ownership of tasks and features
- Relevant QA certifications are a plus
