Senior QA Engineer

abra professional services is seeking a Senior QA Engineer!

We are looking for an experienced software testing expert to integrate into an existing team, specializing in end-to-end testing of complex data-driven systems and ETL processes, utilizing advanced AI tools for testing and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end testing on complex, data-driven systems and robust ETL processes.
• Plan, design, and execute comprehensive test scenarios; perform web and API testing; analyze data and log discrepancies.
• Investigate data layers and write complex SQL queries to ensure data integrity and system accuracy.
• Leverage advanced Generative AI tools and autonomous coding agents to streamline testing workflows and assist in test automation.
• Document, track, and report system bugs clearly while delivering detailed test summary reports ($TSR$).
• Work closely within an established QA team, reporting directly to the QA Team Lead, while maintaining ongoing syncs with Developers, Product Managers, and Project Managers.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in software quality assurance ($QA$).
• Practical, day-to-day experience using advanced AI tools and coding agents (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar) for requirements analysis, test scenario generation, bug investigation, SQL generation, and optimizing QA workflows. Note: Continuous, practical use is required; basic familiarity is not sufficient.
• Strong mastery of SQL, including writing complex queries, advanced $JOINs$, and aggregation functions.
• Deep experience in API testing, with hands-on proficiency using Postman and Swagger.
• Solid experience in log analysis and troubleshooting using Kibana or equivalent tools.
• Extensive experience testing Data Warehouse ($DWH$) environments and complex $ETL$ processes.
• High-level English proficiency (both written and verbal).
