Full job details

Integrated Health 21 (IH21) is a nationally recognized leader in biometric screening and health and wellness programs, partnering with employers to improve workforce health outcomes. Our mission-driven teams operate at the intersection of clinical excellence and innovative technology, serving thousands of participants whose personal health information we protect with the highest standards of security and compliance.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated IT professional ready to step into a broader scope of influence. If you have built strong technical and operational skills in a small-to-mid-size organization handling confidential or regulated data, this is your opportunity to bring that experience to a larger stage — and to shape how technology enables care across the country.

This hands-on role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and continuous improvement of our technology environment. The position owns the daily IT function, lead asset and access management, and manages IT service contracts. Reporting to senior leadership and collaborating with clinical, operations, and compliance teams across all four regions, this role carries real visibility and real impact.

We are seeking someone who thrives in a dynamic, multi-priority environment that brings strong organizational and project management skills; where wearing multiple hats is the norm and owning outcomes end-to-end is expected.

IT Help Desk & Ticketing System

  • Lead the implementation and ongoing management of a formalized IT support ticketing system, establishing SLAs, escalation paths, and performance metrics.
  • Serve as the primary point of escalation for complex technical issues across regional staff.
  • Identify recurring support patterns and drive root-cause fixes to reduce ticket volume over time.

Asset & Access Management

  • Maintain a current and accurate inventory of all hardware, software licenses, and IT assets across four regions.
  • Manage user provisioning, deprovisioning, and role-based access controls in alignment with HIPAA and organizational security policies.
  • Conduct and document quarterly access reviews of all company systems
  • Enforce lifecycle management practices for desktops, laptops, tablets, and all other company devices.

IT Service Contract Management

  • Own vendor relationships and service agreements for all IT services, including renewals, performance reviews, and cost optimization.
  • Evaluate and onboard new vendors or solutions as the organization’s needs evolve.

Microsoft 365 & Cloud Environment

  • Administer and optimize the Microsoft 365 environment including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, and Azure AD.
  • Ensure data security and access governance within the M365 platform consistent with regulatory requirements (HIPAA).
  • Collaborate with leadership on cloud strategy and infrastructure improvements.

Compliance & Security

  • Maintain and enforce IT policies that meet HIPAA and PHI handling requirements.
  • Conduct periodic audits of access logs, user accounts, and device compliance.
  • Partner with clinical and compliance teams to ensure technology practices support regulatory obligations.
  • Serve as a key contributor to SOC 2 compliance and continuous improvement initiatives by overseeing access management, asset inventory controls, vendor management, security monitoring, policy implementation, audit preparation, and remediation activities. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the organization's technology environment remains secure, compliant, and aligned with established control frameworks.

Cross-Regional Coordination

  • Coordinate IT support and projects across four geographic regions, balancing competing priorities and timelines.
  • Communicate proactively with regional stakeholders on system changes, outages, and project milestones.
  • Lead and coordinate technology projects from initiation through completion, ensuring objectives, timelines, budgest, and stakeholder expectations are successfully managed and achieved.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
  • 2–4 years of progressive IT experience, preferably including at least one role in a small-to-mid-size organization managing confidential or regulated data.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of handling confidential/sensitive information subject to regulation.
  • Hands-on experience administering a Microsoft 365 environment (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, Azure AD).
  • Experience implementing or significantly improving an IT help ticketing system.
  • Proven ability to manage hardware/software asset inventories and user access controls.
  • Experience managing or supporting IT vendor contracts and service agreements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare, wellness, or another regulated industry where data privacy is paramount.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or similar.
  • Familiarity with multi-site or multi-region IT environments

Soft Skills & Work Style

  • Exceptional organizational skills — you keep projects, tickets, and commitments from falling through the cracks.
  • Strong prioritization instincts in a fast-moving environment where multiple stakeholders compete for your attention.
  • Project management capability: you can scope, plan, communicate, and deliver.
  • Comfortable multitasking and context-switching without sacrificing quality.
  • Clear communicator able to translate technical issues for non-technical audiences at all levels.
  • Self-directed and accountable; you don’t wait to be told when something needs attention.
