Position Summary

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will join an innovative team building scalable cloud data solutions and AI-driven capabilities to improve health outcomes and drive digital transformation. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy high-performance applications leveraging Azure cloud services, real-time data streaming with Kafka, large-scale data processing with Databricks and Delta Lake, and modern AI technologies including LLM embeddings, model fine-tuning, and developer assistance integrations (e.g., Codex, Claude).

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions and enterprise-scale software to address complex business challenges with an emphasis on responsible AI use
• Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate software engineering tasks, and drive continuous operational improvement
• Evaluate emerging AI trends and modern cloud architectures to inform solution design, continuous optimization, and strategic innovation
• Build and maintain scalable real-time data streaming and processing pipelines using Apache Kafka, Azure Databricks, and Delta Lake
• Develop, optimize, and maintain resilient backend services and database architectures using Java, Python, and Azure PostgreSQL
• Implement and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs), embeddings, and code generation/completion tools to solve business challenges
• Implement robust cloud storage solutions and design scalable data structures for analytical capabilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams, data engineers, and solution architects to deliver secure, reliable, and compliant enterprise software applications

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience developing enterprise applications using Java or Python
• 3+ years of experience building and deploying cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure
• 3+ years of experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MySQL or similar), including schema design and query optimization
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with big data like Databricks or Delta Lake
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with streaming platforms like Apache Kafka
• 1+ years of experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs), including fine-tuning models and integrating AI models into software applications
• Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted development tools to enhance workflow efficiency and code quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Hands-on experience integrating AI LLM models (e.g., OpenAI Codex, Anthropic Claude) into software workflows or enterprise applications
• Expertise in building real-time event-driven architectures and distributed data pipelines
• Experience with CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and modern DevOps practices on Azure
• Azure technical certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Data Engineer, or Azure AI Engineer)

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
