Full job details
Cascade Engineering Services is looking for a SAR/RF Compliance Test Engineer to support RF regulatory testing for wireless devices. This role focuses on hands-on testing, data collection, and ensuring compliance with global standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform RF exposure testing, including SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) and Power Density (PD for 5G mmWave), on wireless ITE devices
- Conduct additional RF regulatory and compliance testing
- Record and document test data, and collaborate with Compliance Engineers
- Apply SAR and RF regulatory knowledge to support product compliance
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Basic understanding of wireless communication and RF principles gained through coursework or work experience
- Experience in a laboratory environment (academic or professional)
- Hands-on experience with RF lab equipment (spectrum analyzers, VNAs, power meters, signal generators, oscilloscopes)
- Strong willingness to learn and grow technical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of RF measurement techniques
- Exposure to cellular, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth technologies
- Experience with RF/SAR systems (DASY5/6/8, cSAR, CMW500, Keysight UXM, Qualcomm/Intel FTM)
- Familiarity with RF exposure standards and compliance
