About The Role

The Salesforce System Administrator configures, maintains, and supports Kidango’s Salesforce suite of products. This role will establish and configure user accounts, develop and customize applications, perform routine maintenance and data cleanup activities to maximize performance and minimize data loss or corruption, and troubleshoot problems and issues. They must also remain current with the Salesforce landscape and maintain a detailed understanding of Kidango’s business processes. The Admin works closely with department leaders and stakeholders to identify and expand Salesforce usage and effectiveness.

This position requires problem solving and analytical skills to anticipate and resolve technical issues that arise within the platform. The System Administrator must be highly collaborative and able to work and communicate well with diverse internal and external stakeholders.

What You’ll Be Doing 

  • Handle all fundamental Salesforce administrative functions including routine tasks such as user account maintenance and workflows
  • Carry out regular internal Salesforce system audits and upgrades
  • Monitor key metrics such as usage limits, metadata changes, user inactivity, record ownership changes, etc.
  • Grow the Salesforce skill set throughout Kidango, and facilitate the training of new and existing users
  • Act as a liaison between Salesforce users, vendors, and other internal and external teams
  • Work independently with various departments to establish and form development requirements
  • Work with Research and other teams to strive for greater functionality in our data systems
  • Actively participate in internal and external meetings, trainings, committees to increase and spread knowledge
  • Maintain confidentiality of children, families and staff
  • Work as a member of the agency team by promoting the mission and philosophy of the agency
  • Provide excellent customer service to all staff, clients, and contacts
  • All other duties assigned

 Preferred qualifications

  • Expertise in Salesforce
  • Proven project management ability
  • Minimum of five years work experience in a similar position
  • Excellent at meeting deadlines
  • Innovative and analytical thinker with solid problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication
  • Ability to assess information from multiple sources and resolve conflicts
  • Ability to work effectively and use a positive approach with a diversity of people
  • Ability to provide leadership, accept responsibility, work independently and set own goals in a professional manner
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator (preferred)
  • Additional Salesforce certifications (preferred)
  • Understanding of basic triggers/Apex code knowledge (preferred)
Compensation
$124,488$124,488 USD

Additional Requirements

  • Must pass a health screening and TB test 
  • Must pass background fingerprint clearance 
  • Must be 18 years or older 
  • The ability to lift up to 30lbs may be needed during some job duties
