This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a QA Engineer in United States.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing cloud-based IT automation environment, ensuring the quality and reliability of a highly scalable endpoint management platform used by thousands of organizations. You will work closely with engineering, product, and IT operations teams to validate new features and improve system performance across complex infrastructures. The position requires strong technical depth in systems, networking, and software testing at scale. You will play a key role in designing robust test strategies, identifying edge cases, and ensuring seamless user experiences across multiple operating systems. This is a highly collaborative role where your insights directly influence product stability and customer satisfaction. You will also help evolve QA practices in a modern SaaS engineering culture focused on continuous improvement.
\n- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for new and existing features across a large-scale SaaS endpoint management platform
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and system-level testing to ensure high-quality releases across multiple operating systems
- Analyze logs, troubleshoot defects, and document issues clearly for development teams to resolve efficiently
- Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and IT operations teams throughout the development lifecycle to ensure quality standards are met
- Provide feedback on usability, system behavior, and performance to improve product functionality and customer experience
- Recommend improvements to QA methodologies, automation approaches, and testing tools to strengthen overall quality processes
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to scaling QA practices across multiple product squads
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in technical IT support, systems engineering, or product support roles
- 2+ years of scripting experience in languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar
- Strong experience with at least two operating systems among Windows, macOS, and Linux, including system internals and configurations
- Solid understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, DNS, and network hardware configuration
- Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL-based systems
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies including ESXi, Hyper-V, VirtualBox, VMware, or Parallels
- Ability to use command-line tools and system-level utilities for troubleshooting and administration
- Experience analyzing logs and identifying root causes of system or application issues
- Familiarity with API tools such as Postman is a plus
- Experience with remote support tools such as TeamViewer, AnyDesk, or similar platforms is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across technical and non-technical teams
