This is a full-time, dedicated onsite IT support position located at one of our clients in Immokalee, Florida. We strongly prefer candidates who live in Immokalee, Ave Maria, or the immediate surrounding area. This is not a remote position. You will need reliable transportation to and from site.
This person would be the first point of contact for common technology issues. The position is intended for someone who can handle routine support independently, gather the right information, and work with TeamLogic when an issue requires additional access or more advanced technical expertise.
This is not a systems administrator or engineering position. We are looking for someone with a solid technical foundation, strong customer service skills, and the ability to follow an issue through to completion.
Primary Responsibilities
- Respond to employees who need technical assistance.
- Troubleshoot common computer, application, login, email, printer, monitor, and connectivity issues.
- Assist with new computer setups and employee onboarding.
- Help with employee offboarding, equipment collection, and account-related requests.
- Install approved software, peripherals, and replacement equipment.
- Perform basic hardware troubleshooting and coordinate repairs or replacements.
- Keep track of assigned equipment and report inventory changes.
- Gather screenshots, error messages, device names, and other relevant information before escalating an issue.
- Serve as TeamLogic’s onsite point of contact when physical access to a device or network equipment is needed.
- Follow troubleshooting instructions provided by TeamLogic and report the results clearly.
- Keep users informed of progress and make sure issues are fully resolved before considering them complete.
- Document the issue, the steps taken, and the final resolution.
Issues This Position Should Be Able to Handle
The Level 1 technician should be comfortable handling common issues such as:
- Computer and Microsoft 365 login problems
- Basic Outlook, Teams, and Office application issues
- Password resets and multifactor authentication assistance
- Printer and scanner troubleshooting
- Monitor, docking station, keyboard, mouse, and peripheral issues
- Basic Wi-Fi and network connectivity troubleshooting
- Access to approved network drives and shared resources
- Basic computer performance issues
- Software installation and updates
- New workstation setup and equipment replacement
- Basic user onboarding and offboarding tasks
- Identifying whether an issue affects one user, multiple users, or an entire location
When TeamLogic IT Should Be Involved
TeamLogic would continue to manage and support the systems that require administrative access, advanced troubleshooting, or engineering-level knowledge, including:
- Servers and network infrastructure
- Firewalls, switches, and wireless infrastructure
- Microsoft 365 and Entra administration
- Azure and AVD environments
- Cybersecurity tools, alerts, and incidents
- Backups and disaster recovery
- Advanced permissions and access issues
- Vendor coordination requiring technical oversight
- Widespread outages or recurring problems
- Issues the Level 1 technician cannot resolve after completing reasonable initial troubleshooting
The Level 1 technician would not be expected to solve these issues independently. Their role would be to identify the problem, collect the necessary information, perform any appropriate initial troubleshooting, and work with TeamLogic until the issue is resolved.
Qualifications
- Previous experience providing basic IT or help desk support
- Working knowledge of Windows computers and Microsoft 365
- Familiarity with common office equipment and basic networking
- Ability to follow technical instructions and established procedures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to document work clearly and accurately
- Comfortable asking questions and escalating when appropriate
- Able to work independently while also collaborating with TeamLogic
What We Are Looking For
The right person will be patient, approachable, and comfortable working directly with employees who may not be technical. They should have a natural ability to troubleshoot, remain calm when someone is frustrated, and take ownership of an issue instead of immediately passing it to someone else.
Just as importantly, they need to know when an issue is outside their level of access or experience. We want someone who will make a reasonable effort, document what they have done, and bring TeamLogic in with enough information for us to assist efficiently.
The goal is to have a reliable onsite resource who can handle everyday technology needs while maintaining a strong working relationship with TeamLogic IT.
