The Opportunity

The Older Adult Network Administrator supports the daily operations, program development, coordination, and service delivery of the Older Adult Network’s four sites. This role assists the Network across all four Greenwich House Older Adult Center locations by providing administrative, operational, and program support to ensure consistent, high-quality services and an exceptional member experience. In partnership with the Director of Older Adult Community Programming and Center Directors, this position helps design, implement, and enhance educational, recreational, wellness, cultural, and social programs that create welcoming and inclusive environments for older adults.

Serving as a network-wide administrative resource, the Older Adult Network Administrator provides operational support, assists with member information and referrals, provides case assistance, coordinates administrative processes, supports program quality, and helps ensure compliance with NYC Aging standards, agency policies, and contractual requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support across all four Older Adult Center locations to promote consistent, high-quality service delivery.
• Support Center Directors with scheduling, correspondence, purchasing, reports, documentation, calendars, and administrative processes.
• Coordinate program activities, events, workshops, outings, and community initiatives, including logistics, materials, vendors, instructors, and partner coordination.
• Provide members with information, referrals, case assistance, service navigation, and connections to community resources.
• Assist with member intake, enrollment, assessments, follow-up, and maintaining accurate confidential records and documentation.
• Support program development by identifying trends, building partnerships, and creating opportunities that promote wellness, learning, creativity, and social connection.
• Monitor participation, engagement, and program outcomes while supporting reporting, data tracking, and continuous quality improvement.
• Assist with budgets, purchasing, invoices, communications, and promotional materials to support program awareness and participation.
• Maintain compliance with NYC Aging standards, agency policies, and contractual requirements through accurate documentation and reporting.
• Provide administrative coverage and operational support at Greenwich House Older Adult Center locations as needed.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in older adult services, community programming, administration, program coordination, project management, case assistance, information and referral, or related human services.
• Experience planning and implementing programs, activities, events, and community initiatives.
• Strong organizational, administrative, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across locations.
• Ability to analyze data, maintain records, prepare reports, and support quality improvement efforts.
• Knowledge of NYC Aging standards, community resources, and older adult programming preferred.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, Adobe Acrobat, Zoom, database systems, and other technology platforms.
• Must be able to travel independently between Greenwich House Older Adult Center locations.
• Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative, multi-site environment.

Employment Details 

• Location: Onsite, Across all Older Adult Sites as needed 
• Schedule: 35 hours/week, Sunday – Thursday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM 
• FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt 
• Employment Type: Full-Time 
• Reports To: Director of Older Adult Community Programing 
• Union Representation: Non-Union

Salary Range 

The expected base salary for this position is $52,000 (hourly equivalent of $31.32). This rate reflects the anticipated compensation at the time of this posting and may be adjusted based on experience, education, and organizational needs.
