Mid-Level Network System Administrator

Location: Pentagon, Arlington, VA
Clearance: Active Top Secret (TS) REQUIRED

Certification: DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II or Above REQUIRED

Position Overview

GES is seeking a Mid-Level Network System Administrator to support day-to-day operations and maintenance of enterprise systems within a secure Pentagon environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server and workstation environments 
• Perform SQL installation, maintenance, backups, and recovery 
• Maintain audit logs, backups, and system security updates 
• Support network inventory and documentation 
• Assist with virtualization and network systems 
• Ensure STIG compliance across systems 
• Support COOP and continuity operations 
• Provide system and application support 

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or Engineering 
• 5+ years of relevant experience 
• Minimum 1 year of SQL experience 
• Understanding of networking protocols and virtualization
