Full job details

The Mechatronics Test Engineer is responsible for the creation and execution of test programs, plans, and methods for subsystem verification tests and complete system verification and validation tests to support new technology and product development programs. This includes the design and operation of test benches, instrumentation selection, data processing, and reporting. You will be accountable for turning raw measurement data into clear engineering insights that drive design decisions.

Key job responsibilities
- Identify proper test plans and equipment needed based on program development stages
- Design, commission, and operate test benches for robotic systems including actuators, batteries, sensors, cameras
- Perform complete system verification and validation testing to ensure successful development of new technologies and products in robotics and automation
- Process and analyze test data to determine performance metrics
- Create test reports that compare results against specifications, to feed back into design cycle
- Support new technology and product development programs
- Collaborate with engineers across various disciplines
Basic Qualifications: - Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures
- Experience developing test strategies and plans for complex hardware/software systems or systems of systems
- Experience in test development within a high ambiguity environment Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production
- Experience with the project management of technical projects
- Experience in selecting, sourcing, and setup of lab equipment from third parties

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
