About the Role
Description
Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is looking for a candidate to provide Linux server administration on the Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) network supporting a US Government Customer. The selected candidate will work as a Linux System Administrator maintaining a development environment that supports a waveform development network. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and coordinate tasking with team members.
Specific job duties include:
· RHEL 9 or later system administration
· Writing Python scripts to automate processes
· Managing and using containers
· Installing CUDA driver, Protobuf, and Zmg packets in Red Hat environment
· Using Gnuradio and Matlab
· Using Ansible and Kickstart for CM
· Using ACAS, Grype, and ClamAV in a container environment
· Manage Network Attached Storage
· Able to perform mitigation of vulnerability found by ACAS scan
· Application of DISA STIGs

Requirements
Clearance Level
· Secret
Certifications (IAT Level II)
One of the following:
· Security+ CE
· GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
· Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP)
· System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
and one of the following:
· RHCSA Red Hat Certified System Administrator (preferred)
· LPIC-2 Advanced Level Linux Professional
· LPIC-3 Senior Level Linux Professional
· RHCE Red Hat Certified Engineer
· Linux +
Required Skills
· 3 Years of Experience with Linux Systems and Podman/KVM
· Experience with Linux and containerization environments
Desired Skills
· Knowledge of ITIL processes and ITIL Certification
· Experience with the IAVM process
