This role will be responsible for managing employee devices, software systems, access controls, internal file organization, security processes, and day-to-day IT support across the company.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building clean, scalable systems and solving operational problems before they become bottlenecks. You will work closely with operations, leadership, and employees across the firm to ensure our technology environment is secure, organized, and easy to use.
This is a full-time role based in the United States.
What You’ll Do
Device Procurement & Management: Source, configure, ship, track, and maintain company laptops and IT equipment for new and existing employees.
Employee Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage IT setup for new hires, including account creation, device setup, software access, permissions, and secure offboarding.
Software & Systems Administration: Administer company software tools, licenses, user permissions, and internal systems across the organization.
SharePoint & File Management: Set up and maintain SharePoint, shared drives, permissions, folder structures, and internal documentation systems.
Security Processes: Implement and maintain IT security practices, including MFA, access reviews, password management, device security, and endpoint controls.
Access Control & Permissions: Manage user access across company systems and ensure employees have the right level of access based on role and need.
IT Support: Troubleshoot hardware, software, account, and connectivity issues for employees across the company.
Vendor Management: Coordinate with IT vendors, software providers, equipment suppliers, and external support partners as needed.
Policy & Documentation: Create and maintain IT policies, SOPs, asset trackers, onboarding guides, and security documentation.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate or improve IT workflows as the company scales.
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, internal IT operations, or a related role.
Experience managing employee laptops, software tools, user accounts, and permissions.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Google Workspace, or similar productivity platforms.
Understanding of common IT security practices, including MFA, password management, endpoint security, and access controls.
Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and cloud-based systems.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple IT workflows at once.
Clear communication skills and a service-oriented approach to supporting employees.
Full-time role based in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting a remote or globally distributed team.
Experience with device management tools, endpoint security platforms, or MDM solutions.
Familiarity with software license management and SaaS administration.
Experience creating IT policies, security procedures, and onboarding/offboarding workflows.
Exposure to compliance, data security, or access governance processes.
Experience supporting fast-growing startups, research organizations, financial services firms, or consulting firms.
Why You’ll Want to Be Here
At SemiAnalysis Capital, you’ll build the IT foundation for a fast-growing team operating at the center of the AI and semiconductor ecosystem. This role gives you broad ownership across devices, systems, security, and internal infrastructure, with the opportunity to create scalable processes that directly improve how the company operates.
We offer generous PTO, office stipends, highly competitive healthcare, dental, and vision coverage, and support for conferences and continued learning.
