Job Summary:
Camillo Companies is actively seeking a Junior Cloud Administrator to support the Information Technology team in the day-to-day administration of the organization's Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and cloud infrastructure environments. This role reports directly to the Senior IT Manager. The successful candidate must be able to take hands-on ownership of real infrastructure including virtual machines, identity, networking, and automation, while also contributing to the broader IT function, including tier 1 and 2 helpdesk support and endpoint management. This is an entry- to junior-level position intended to build practical cloud administration experience under the guidance of senior team members, with a growth path toward independent ownership of core cloud platforms.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Azure Infrastructure and Compute

Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure virtual machines, including sizing, storage, permissions, network configuration, security controls, and basic performance tuning.

Provision and manage Azure resources such as storage accounts, resource groups, and app services.

Monitor virtual machine and resource health and respond to alerts or performance issues.
-
Support backup and disaster recovery processes for Azure workloads.
-
Support the creation and configuration of Azure enterprise applications, including permission assignment, naming conventions, Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations with their supporting security groups, and testing prior to deployment.
Identity and Access Management
-
Assist with identity and access management in Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), including security group administration and enforcement of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including account provisioning, access changes, and device setup.

Support the creation, testing, and management of Conditional Access policies, including validation in audit mode before company-wide deployment.
Networking
-
Assist with configuring and troubleshooting Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), subnets, and network security groups (NSGs).

Support basic connectivity tasks such as VPN gateways, DNS configuration, and firewall rules.

Work with senior team members to apply network security best practices.
Domains and Certificates
-
Assist with purchasing, renewing, transferring, and managing company domains, including DNS records.

Support SSL/TLS certificate rotation for custom domains and Azure-hosted web applications, including certificate format conversion using OpenSSL.

Support SFTP integrations and the related certificate work they require.
Data Platform and Automation
-
Assist with Microsoft Fabric workspace administration, including permissions, managed identities, and service principals, supporting the Data and Development teams' notebook and automation projects.

Knowledge of the Data Lake gateway is a plus.

Assist with Azure runbook automations, including monitoring for errors and updating variables as source systems change.

Use scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Azure CLI) to streamline repetitive tasks and cloud operations.
Collaboration Platforms

Assist with SharePoint administration, including sites, document libraries, permission sets, external sharing, and migrations.
-
Support SharePoint storage management, including scripted version history cleanup and archival of data to blob storage.

Assist with administration of Google Workspace accounts and licensing.
Endpoint, Device, and Print Management
-
Monitor and maintain Microsoft Intune configurations, including device enrollment (Windows, iOS, and Android), policy and compliance management, application packaging and deployment, and routine patch management through Windows Update for Business.

Maintain Windows Autopilot deployment profiles, including hardware hash registration and Out-of-Box Experience (OOBE) settings, to support zero-touch provisioning for end users.

Support management of the Universal Print environment, including the print server, PaperCut, cloud print connections, and the related Intune deployment policies.
Helpdesk and General IT Support

Provide tier 1 and 2 helpdesk support for internal staff, covering hardware, software, account access, and connectivity issues.

Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff as needed.
Documentation

Create and maintain documentation for cloud architecture, configurations, and standard procedures.

Contribute clear runbooks, process guides, and knowledge base articles to the internal IT knowledge base.

Working familiarity with the Microsoft 365 admin center and a foundational understanding of Microsoft Azure.

Basic scripting ability with PowerShell; exposure to Bash or Azure CLI is a plus.

General understanding of DNS records, SSL/TLS certificates, and core networking concepts.

Strong documentation habits and attention to detail.

Clear written and verbal communication skills, including comfort supporting staff at all levels of the organization.

Willingness to learn in a fast-paced, multi-domain environment.

Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) preferred.

Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Entra ID, or Google Workspace administration preferred.

Familiarity with SFTP, OpenSSL, or automation scripting preferred.

Experience with Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot in a production environment preferred.
Education and Experience:

Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

1-2 years of experience in an IT support, helpdesk, or junior systems administration role, with exposure to cloud platforms.
