Job DetailsJob Location: NOOKSACK NORTHWOOD CASINO - LYNDEN, WA 98264Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: 2 Year DegreeTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: AnyJob Category: Information TechnologyPURPOSE OF POSITION Under general supervision, utilizes specialized knowledge or skills to perform hardware and software support for departments while following applicable laws and the Nooksack Northwood Casino’s internal controls and established policies and procedures.  Provides a high level of customer service to internal and external customers. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS Reports Directly to:                  IT Manager Supervises Directly:                None  Other Important Contacts:       All Department Managers and Directors, General Manager and vendors.   DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide Excellent Customer Service for both internal and external customers. Support all business applications, installed and new (POS, Casino Management Systems, etc.) Maintain up to date knowledge of hardware and equipment contracts and supervise contract based installations. Investigates, analyzes, resolves hardware/software and communications problems on computer systems; performs complex hardware repairs and maintenance on a wide range of pc-based computers and peripherals. Provides advanced hardware technical assistance and support; troubleshoots and resolves system hardware, software, and communications failures and conflicts. Evaluates existing computer systems hardware, and performs system upgrades; based on user needs, customizes and tests computer systems, and resolves configuration conflicts and errors. Installs, integrates, and configures new computer systems and hardware for users. Researches, analyzes, and recommends appropriate computer hardware for customized computer configurations. Reviews, prioritizes, and processes problem reports; documents the progress of projects. Maintains a high level quality of customer service standards in dealing with and responding to questions. Actively support the Company Culture of creating a  fun and entertaining experience for internal and external customers. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.     VIII. Must be at least 18 years of age. Minimum two years IT experience.         Preferred: A college degree or certificate in networking, information systems, technology, or related field. WORKING CONDITIONS May work in a noisy, crowded, smoke-filled environment.   Will be monitored by surveillance cameras. May be required to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays. May interact with persons who are angered, intoxicated, or distressed. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds. Physical dexterity.
