About Prolific

Prolific is not just another player in the AI space – we are building the biggest pool of quality human data in the world.

Over 35,000 AI developers, researchers, and organizations use Prolific to gather data from paid study participants with a wide variety of experiences, knowledge, and skills.

The Role
Do you have a device with a microphone? Get paid to take part in voice interviews. We’re inviting IT support professionals based in the UK to take part in a research study run by an institution focused on global policy change. This is a paid research participation opportunity, not a job as an IT support technician. Quick signup, flexible schedule, real payouts.

Your voice can help build a picture of how people across the UK think and talk about important issues, and that evidence is designed to inform real policy decisions. Every participant counts, and together we’re working toward a shared research goal.

The project launches in about one week, and places are allocated on a first come, first served basis, so please sign up as soon as you can.

What you’ll be doing

• Taking part in a short voice conversation with another participant
• Completing a short online survey sharing your views and experiences
• Giving honest, considered responses based on your own perspective
• Watching the community research goal progress as more participants take part

What you’ll bring

• Residence in the UK
• Fluent English
• A device with a working microphone
• No research experience or specialist research qualifications required. We want a genuine cross-section of the UK population.

Why join this project?
This is a chance to be part of something meaningful and have a say in research aimed at shaping policy. Once the findings are published, we’ll share them with participants so you can see the impact of your contribution.

Please note that you must be new to Prolific to sign up successfully. If you already have a Prolific account, there is no need to register again. Simply ensure your profile is up to date to be eligible for this and future opportunities.

Why Prolific is a great platform to join as a Participant

Joining our platform as a Prolific participant will give you the chance to influence the AI models of the future using your professional expertise. Once you pass our assessment, you can join Prolific in just 15 minutes, and start enjoying competitive pay rates, flexible hours, and the ability to work from home.

We've built a unique platform that connects researchers and companies with a global pool of participants, enabling the collection of high-quality, ethically sourced human behavioural data and feedback. This data is the cornerstone of developing more accurate, nuanced, and aligned AI systems.

We believe that the next leap in AI capabilities won't come solely from scaling existing models, but from integrating diverse human perspectives and behaviours into AI development.
