Continental Aerospace Technologies is seeking an IT Support Technician I to provide frontline technical support to employees across the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in Information Technology while gaining hands-on experience with desktops, printers, business applications, and end-user support.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reset passwords and assist with account access issues.
- Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral hardware problems.
- Configure, deploy, and replace PCs and laptops.
- Provide first-level support for Microsoft 365 and business applications.
- Respond to and resolve help desk tickets in a timely manner.
- Install software and perform routine system updates.
- Document issues, resolutions, and asset information.
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred.
- 0 to 2 years of IT support experience.
- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and computer hardware.
- Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift and move computer equipment up to 50 pounds.
PREFERRED
- CompTIA A+ certification or willingness to obtain.
- Experience supporting printers, Windows PCs, and Active Directory user accounts.
