We are seeking an exceptional IT Support Technician for our New Orleans QA Testing Facility. This is an exciting new role, in our recently opened testing facility.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsibility for the NOLA Service Desk and the efficient and timely delivery of 1st/2nd line IT support to the QA testing teams
- Provisioning of testing equipment to QA projects in a timely manner
- Day to administration of local servers, systems and network devices
- Implementation of global policies defined by the IT Director and Head of InfoSec
- IT Procurement for this facility
- Negotiation and maintenance of vendor and consultant contracts and service agreements
- Maintain complete, detailed documentation of all services and systems
- Managing and auditing of all IT assets in the facility
- Vulnerability scanning and patching of endpoints
- Addressing security events raised by the SIEM solution
- Shift patterns may be flexible
- A Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or related technical field
- 2+ years prior IT support experience
- Ability to multitask and support various groups of users
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and within constraints
- Team player – working effectively as part of local and global IT teams
- Essential technical skills;
- Current server, PC and mobile hardware
- Good understanding of the principles of networking, and related technologies and hardware
- Industry recognized qualifications in IT hardware support – CompTIA A+ or equivalent
- Operating Systems (Windows10, OSX, iOS, Android)
- Excellent understanding of basic Active Directory management - User and Groups
- VoIP phone systems
- PC image deployment technologies
- Encryption technologies e.g. Bitlocker
· Desirable skills and experience;
- Exposure to ISO 27001, MPAA or other security standards would be a strong advantage
- Gaming/Media Industry Experience – development, testing, publishing; handling confidential data
