Job Purpose and Scope:

Responsible for providing IT support as directed by the CIO.

 

Essential Job Functions:

· Responsible for oversight and management of all IT and communication related systems. This includes but is not limited to: PC's and associated software.

· Responsible for performing PC installation, repair, peripheral setup, networking up to the router, hardware repair/replacement, as well as software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

· Responsible for performing items such as hardware testing, virus detection and removal, spyware detection and removal, software optimization, and other duties as required.

· Coordination of security related installations, repair, and maintenance.

· Responsible for installing new PC's including the necessary software installations and updates.

· Responsible for basic Windows server management.

· Responsible for identifying issues and coordinating with IT manager and/or department heads as required.

· Responsible for providing training on user applications as required.

· Responsible for performing preventative maintenance and optimization on PC's and software.

· Responsible for resolving computer issues (hardware, software, peripheral, operation, etc). Performed in person when available, via phone, or remotely.

· Responsible for performing administrative functions such as password resets, initialization of PC, etc.

· Responsible for basic Microsoft products including O365 and Azure management

· Responsible for monitoring the mail filter.

· Perform other requests and directives as directed by the CIO.

· Any other duties as assigned by management with or without reasonable accommodation.

 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

· Knowledge of the latest PC operating systems.

· Basic knowledge of networking.

· Ability to train and work with end users is a must.

· Excellent written and oral communication skills.

· Experience with O365

· Strong problem-solving abilities.

· Ability to manage projects, track progress, and work with deadlines.

· Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple projects concurrently.

 

Basic Qualifications:

· Associates Degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Related job experience may be substituted for a degree.
