We are looking to hire a new IT Service Desk Technician based in our West Valley City, Utah USA office. You will support internal customers and mobile devices related to IT-related products and services. Responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities:
- Support personal computers & mobile devices on Android, iOS, Mac OS, and Windows · Coordinate/provide input to technical teams and aid in developing best practice solutions
- Document business processes, configurations, and other associated functional specifications
- Support internal customers on issue resolution, requirements gathering, strategic initiatives, etc.
- Work and communicate effectively with an extensive IT team
- Occasional Travel Physical Locations · Driver’s License
Microsoft Skills:
- Experience working with Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals including understanding of security best practices and principles
- Experience with the Windows OS settings and configuration
Service Desk Skills:
- Ability to follow established processes and procedures.
- Identify critical system issues with large scale impact to the business and escalate those issues appropriately
- Tracking of all work via ticketing system
- PC hardware and software troubleshooting and problem solving
Mobile Device Administration Skills:
- Understanding of device connectivity to internet and corporate networks
- Knowledge of Android, iOS and Windows Mobile and associated apps and configuration requirements
- Project / team oriented (must be able to work in a team-driven environment and take additional responsibilities as required).
- Self-motivated and able to work alone.
- Customer focused.
- Continuous improvement and system enhancement focused.
- Positive and pleasant attitude.
Education and Experience:
- Basic understanding of networking principles, practices and technologies, especially the TCP/IP protocol suite, including working knowledge of DNS, WINS and DHCP·
- Bachelors Degree Computer Technician, or equivalent, or corresponding work experience
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Systems
