Key Job Functions and Tasks for IT Specialist
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Oversee the operations of the dealership-wide computer system and related peripherals.
Coordinate with third-party vendors in monitoring and maintaining dealership network environment, directories, phone and security systems.
Install desktops, portable computers, peripherals, and software products for networked and stand-alone environments.
Coordinate IT equipment installation and maintenance with appropriate department managers to avoid disruption in communications and ensure operational efficiency.
Detect, diagnose, research solutions, and resolve desktop and portable computer software and hardware failures.
Analyze and assess IT service requests and provide prompt technical solutions.
Conduct IT audits as assigned.
Contact and effectively communicate with users by telephone, electronic communications, or in person.
