Full job details
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide day-to-day technical support to Valley Associates, ensuring a smooth experience with technology for meetings, events, and travel.
- Respond to support requests in a professional manner, troubleshoot common issues, and escalate more complex problems as needed.
- Assist with maintaining and supporting end-user devices, conference room technology, and basic AV/collaboration tools.
- Help document recurring issues, solutions, and support procedures to improve team efficiency and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in on-call or after-hours support rotations when required.
- Prioritize incoming requests based on urgency and follow through to ensure issues are resolved or properly handed off.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for executive conferences, board meetings, and high-profile events, ensuring all technology functions seamlessly before, during, and after the event.
- Maintain a dedicated inventory of hot-spare devices for rapid deployment and replacement, ensuring minimal downtime for executives and key users.
- Ensure international wireless service and mobile device readiness for executives who travel, coordinating with telecommunications teams as needed.
- Partner with departments such as Marketing, Corporate Communications, and Collaboration.
- Services to support executive-level meetings and technology rollouts.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of the Windows desktop operating system.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced IT Service environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Azure AD and M365 suite of productivity products and tools.
- Hands on experience with Windows 7/10 Deployment and Administration.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Identity and access management, including on premise-based AD Services.
- Adept at critical thinking and problem solving to evaluate problems for accuracy and timely resolution, within expected service levels.
- Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, like printers and scanners.
- Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Understanding of ITIL Foundation, certification a plus.
- Experience with process and procedure documentation required.
- Ability to respond well to tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of networking systems and concepts required.
Required Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent and a minimum of 3 years hands-on IT Support or Engineering experience in areas of hardware and software.
Preferred Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in a related field and a Minimum of 3 years' experience as a workstation engineer with deep troubleshooting skills.
- Microsoft Certifications in Azure, Endpoint Manager, SCCM, PowerShell.
