Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field
    OR
    Associate/Vocational degree + 5 years experience
    OR
    1 year experience as IT Support Specialist II or equivalent
  • 2–3+ years of IT support and system management experience
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and infrastructure
  • Knowledge of network troubleshooting and TCP/IP issues
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
  • Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system
  • Experience with AWS CLI and Terraform (automation & provisioning)
  • Professional certifications such as A+, Network+, Cloud+ (mandatory)
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to learn emerging technologies and adapt quickly
  • Capability to provide user-friendly support and handle escalations

2. Responsibilities

  • Provide end-user IT support via phone, remote access, or on-site visits
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Maintain and support business applications and critical IT infrastructure
  • Manage and monitor cloud environments ensuring scalability and cost-efficiency
  • Design, build, and maintain internal cloud-based applications
  • Handle production incidents, perform triage, and coordinate resolution
  • Monitor and manage ServiceNow ticket queues and ensure timely responses
  • Provide customer support for software, configurations, and business processes
  • Recommend hardware and software improvements based on organizational needs
  • Automate processes using tools like AWS CLI and Terraform
  • Support devices including PCs, laptops (Windows 10/11), printers, scanners, and A/V systems
  • Assist IT infrastructure team members and escalate issues when required
  • Ensure minimal downtime and prevent data leakage
  • Stay updated with latest IT trends and implement improvements
  • Document processes and contribute to post-incident reviews
