About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated IT intern to join our dynamic team. The IT Support Intern will assist the IT team in providing technical support for a mixed Mac and Windows environment, A/V conference room support, IT operations maintenance, hardware imaging, and handling technical documentation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, strong organization and problem-solving skills, and a keen interest in learning and growing within the IT field. The ideal candidate will be working on an IT Organization Project, E-Waste & Equipment Recycling Project and perform other IT duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
Learn and assist in diagnosing Apple, Windows, iOS, A/V, and video conferencing hardware and software issues.
Provide customer service while improving time management, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
Assist with imaging and re-imaging devices, including proper configuration and deployment.
A/ V installations and conference room maintenance.
Office wire management and IT organizational efforts.
Document technical problems and solutions in our ticket system.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including user guides, system documentation, and process manuals to ensure clear and accurate records of all procedures.
About you:
Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Information Technology, or related degree program.
Basic understanding of Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and IT networking principles.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Elite-level organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
Ability to lift 40lbs.
