IT Support Associate II, Ops Tech Solutions (OTS)

As an IT Support Associate II, you will use your skills to support the operations team in resolving technical problems within an Amazon Operations facility that span across a multitude of technical disciplines. Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Allocating, maintaining, and troubleshooting of IT equipment used in Amazon Operations facilities.
- Handling support requests and procedures across the network.
- Assisting in training new hires.
- Continuous learning of new technologies.
- Supporting customers from multiple buildings in the area, as well as remote customers.
- Moving up to 49lbs as well as standing and walking for shifts lasting up to 12 hours.

A day in the life
Support Technicians dedicate approximately 80% of their time to troubleshooting and repairing end-user hardware within our fulfillment centers, ensuring continuous station uptime and operational efficiency. The remaining 20% involves executing projects and managed change controls to maintain or improve our infrastructure. This position is located on the warehouse floor in an industrial environment characterized by elevated noise levels, dust exposure, and variable temperature conditions throughout the year. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required for most tasks due to environmental hazards. This is an operational IT support role within a fulfillment center, not a traditional office-based IT position. Basic Qualifications: - Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems
- Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
- Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems
- 1+ years of Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience or equivalent experience Preferred Qualifications: - CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware (installation), AWS, or other industry relevant certifications

The starting pay for this position is listed below. Final starting pay will be based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
