Position Summary: The IT Support Administrator is responsible for providing Information Technology support to all Unity Bank employees.
Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- IT Hardware Administration: Responsible for the issuing, setting up, maintenance and support of Bank hardware including PC’s, laptops, printers, etc.
- Helpdesk Tickets: Respond to helpdesk tickets, providing timely support for user questions and changes.
- System Administration: Install, upgrade, configure network printing, directory structures, rights and security for PCs and printers.
- Active Directory Support: Establish and maintain network users, user environments and documentation of the Active Directory. Implements virus/spam/spyware and information security detection/prevention procedures.
- Network Administration: Setup new and make appropriate changes to existing devices and software including but not limited to desktops, laptops, printers, phones, video conferencing tools, etc.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain current application documentation to assist with installation and training purposes.
- Training: Provide training support to new and existing users through one-on-one consultation, webinars, group trainings, etc.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies and procedures.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in information technology and identify opportunities for process enhancements.
Education and Experience:
- Associate degree in information technology or a related field.
- Two (2) years of experience in information Technology or combination of education and experience.
- Banking/Financial Industry experience preferred.
Work Environment: Collaborative, trust-based, transparent, supportive, and comfortable community atmosphere. This position may include opportunities to travel across our footprint, working with customers, community members, and our Unity Team.
This position may require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Regulatory Standards: Financial Institutions must adopt and comply with regulatory requirements. All employees of Unity Bank are required to comply with these standards and practices. Employees will be responsible for participation in training sessions for these regulatory compliance requirements. This will be offered through online sessions, department meetings, bank wide training, and other such media. In addition, compliance training that is specific to job responsibilities will be conducted. Any employee that knowingly fails to comply with the requirements, as outlined in the Compliance Manual and the related guidelines may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
