About the Role


Role

Extends IT support services to staff and clients. Keeps the network computing systems operating efficiently and assure that computing standards are implemented and enforced; Troubleshoots and resolves system problems and assists with project management research, implementation and system administrative duties.


Major Duties and Responsibilities

1. Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot PCs, servers, and all other computer related systems, devices, and equipment. Maintain documented resolutions and operating procedures. 

2. Respond to internal inquiries and develops solutions for component failures and complex technical problems in all of these areas to deliver a sound and stable computing infrastructure; providing exceptional support while demonstrating a sense of priorities.

3. Ensure all security measures, AntiVirus, Firewall, IDS, email scanner, etc. are functioning properly. 

4. Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. 

5. Under the direction of the Senior IT staff maintains user accounts on networks and applications and makes certain proper permissions are established within applications and in the network operating systems. 

6. Ensure that all backups of all servers are functioning correctly. 

7. Coordinates with fellow IT Staff to ensure timely completion of (a) quarterly & month end processing and posting, (b) running and printing daily reports, © running monthly and quarterly reports and (d) preparing specialized CView reports as needed.

Knowledge & Skills

Spanish speaking is a plus.

Experience

Six months to two years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.

Education/Certifications/Licenses

A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school.

Interpersonal Skills

A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required to be an effective subject matter expert in the position. In-depth dialogues, conversations, and explanations with members, direct and indirect reports, and outside vendors of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature are a normal part of the day-to-day experience. Communications can involve motivating, influencing, educating, and/or advising others on matters of significance.

Physical Requirements

Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Must be capable of climbing/descending stairs in emergency situations. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on a computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance.

Working Conditions

Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work areas with moderate noise. This position may be eligible for some remote work.

Mental and/or Emotional Requirements

Must be able to perform job functions with supervision and work effectively either on your own or as part of a team. Must be able to read and carry out various instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations with extreme accuracy. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate the highest levels of member service and discretion when dealing with the public. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines/requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising the highest level of discretion on confidential matters.
