Job Title: IT Specialist

Location: Apex, NC

Position Type: Full-Time, In-Office (5 days a week)

Pay Rate: $22-$26/hour based on experience

Position Overview

If you enjoy a role where no two days are exactly the same, this is for you. You will bridge the gap between hands-on IT support, reporting, and inventory logistics. You will be the go-to person for troubleshooting daily tech issues, managing inventory, and stepping up to anchor the IT department when the IT Manager is away.


Key Responsibilities

  • IT Support & Ticketing: Own the internal IT help desk. Triaging, troubleshooting, and resolving daily hardware and software tickets for our team.

  • Inventory Management: Track, organize, and manage company tech assets and operational inventory. Ensure that we are fully stocked at all times.

  • Reports Management: Maintain and manage specific reports and data visualizations.

  • IT Department Coverage: Serve as the primary backup and point of contact for the IT department during the Manager’s absence.


Experience & Education Requirements

We value diverse backgrounds and recognize that skills can be built through different paths. This role requires a baseline of IT experience depending on your education: 4 years with a High School diploma, 2 years with an Associate degree, or 0–1 years with a Bachelor’s degree. We also highly prefer candidates with service industry experience and familiarity with Workwave products.


Technical & Core Requirements

  • Google Workspace Proficiency: Strong experience using and administering Google Enterprise products.

  • Data Basics: A foundational understanding of SQL (ability to run basic queries) and Tableau (ability to navigate and interpret dashboards).

  • On-Site Availability: This is a fully in-office position (5 days a week) at our Apex, NC office.

  • Problem-Solver Mindset: Adaptable, resourceful, and ready to take ownership of projects.
