NOW HIRING: IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST | MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT (ON-SITE)
We are seeking a skilled and hands-on IT Support Specialist to support plant and facilities technology systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is critical in ensuring stable, secure, and efficient operations across production, inventory, and administrative systems.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This position is responsible for supporting and maintaining all plant IT systems, including hardware, software, networking infrastructure, servers, production systems, and telecommunications. The IT Support Specialist will work closely with operations and leadership teams to ensure technology solutions effectively support manufacturing performance and business continuity.
This role also supports the IT Manager in executing daily operations, troubleshooting issues, and driving system improvements using Lean and continuous improvement principles.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support and maintain plant-wide IT systems, including hardware, software, and networking infrastructure
- Assist with servers, system security, and telecommunications support
- Maintain and troubleshoot manufacturing and inventory control systems
- Provide hands-on technical support to ensure minimal downtime in production environments
- Assist with IT planning, coordination, and implementation of system improvements
- Partner with operations and leadership teams to align technology with production needs
- Apply Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices to IT processes
- Support inventory systems, production systems, and administrative platforms
- Ensure systems reliability, security, and operational efficiency across the facility
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 5 years of IT experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and technical support systems
- Experience supporting production or plant-based systems preferred
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, operations-driven environment
