Join our team at Generations Family Health Center!   Generations Family Health Center, Inc. is a regional community health center covering a 37-town rural region in eastern Connecticut with sites located in Willimantic, Danielson, Norwich, and Putnam. Our dedicated staff provides a full range of primary care services to all ages including medical, dental, and behavioral healthcare, as well as care coordination and community outreach.   Position: The Information Technology (IT) Manager serves as Generations’ full-time, on-site Information Technology department manager, focused on day-to-day IT operations, staff supervision, helpdesk escalation management, vendor coordination, and equipment and access administration.   The IT Manager will also oversee/manage the IT operation and activities including networking, telecommunication and user support activities inclusive of the needs of Generations’ individual departments and programs. This role will also oversee/manage activities including network, internet and email administration (both in-house and with contractors), network engineer and security management, hardware/software purchasing in conjunction with Senior Management, site maintenance and troubleshooting, consulting liaison to vendor technical support, and hardware/software installation and diagnosis.  This role will provide overall systems maintenance and upgrades to all computer systems at all sites.  The IT Manager also contributes to short-term technology planning, supports budget development, and ensures alignment of IT operations with organizational priorities, while escalating enterprise-level strategy and policy decisions. QualificationsRequired Qualifications: Associate or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (equivalent experience will be considered) Minimum 5+ years of IT experience, with at least 3+ years of supervisory experience Healthcare IT experience Experience coordinating with external service providers Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems, asset management, and user access administration   Preferred Qualifications: Experience with: Network administration and infrastructure Microsoft 365 / cloud environments Endpoint management and patching tools Supporting EHR systems and healthcare applications Backup and disaster recovery solutions Cybersecurity tools and frameworks Telecom experience Knowledge of NIST/HIPAA/HITECH compliance requirements and healthcare data security standards Familiarity with clinical workflows and HIPAA requirements   Generations Family Health Center offers attractive and competitive compensation along with an excellent, comprehensive benefits package.   Salary Scale: (based on a full-time schedule) $90,000.00+ (commensurate with experience)   Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage FSA and DCAP availability 403(b) retirement savings plan with employer contributions 5+ weeks paid time off per calendar year Nine paid holidays Employee Assistance Program   Additional Information: Location: Willimantic, CT On-Site Presence: On-site at Generations’ locations, must be able to transport self within the region Reports to: CIO   Interested candidates should submit their resumes for consideration by applying directly online.
