About the Role
Summary of Position:
Plans and designs the Liberty Power IT systems infrastructure, including the design, implementation, and continual improvement of hardware and software. Responsibilities include analysis of problems or Company/departmental needs
from a technology standpoint, development of solutions, analysis, testing, and continual improvement of solutions, and ongoing maintenance of solutions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Systems/Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of practical experience in IT systems and systems design.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of IT systems and support practices.
- Practical experience implementing and supporting Ignition SCADA solution.
- Deep understanding of virtualization.
- Knowledge of IT service management principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of operating systems and network fundamentals.
- Ability to effectively learn and apply new technologies.
- Ability to embrace the concept of continual improvement.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure, manage multiple concurrent tasks and responsibilities, and deal with changing priorities while maintaining personal effectiveness.
- Ability to take initiative in completing daily tasks and special projects.

- Defines, communicates, and manages the execution of infrastructure strategy, standards, and roadmaps based on the Company's current state and short- and long-term needs.
- Works on and manages all phases of system and service management, including scoping, design, testing, deployment, release, and continual improvement of new and existing systems and services.
- Develops and maintains documentation for supported applications, processes, and training materials to internal employees and IT staff.
- Participates in general IT operations and user support.
- Contributes to a supportive team culture by engaging respectfully, sharing knowledge, and collaborating openly.
- Builds and maintains cross-functional relationships with internal teams to drive initiatives.
- Identifies, plans, and implements automation within systems to improve efficiency.
- Develops system monitoring and supports automation to enhance and scale the quality of support.
- Serves as an escalation point for other IT teams and assists with mentoring and providing technical guidance to more junior staff members.
- Participates in the planning process and ensures architectural designs and principles are incorporated in the company systems implementations.

Working Conditions/Environment:
- Operates primarily in a professional and/or business casual office environment.

$150,000/YR - $225,000/YR
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
