About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused IT Help Desk Specialist to join our team in Shiloh. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for technical support, helping employees resolve IT issues quickly and efficiently. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with people, and maintaining smooth day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, and in person
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
  • Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions
  • Document support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT staff when needed
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding by setting up and deactivating user accounts
  • Support basic cybersecurity and data protection practices

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1–3 years of help desk or technical support experience
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently

Preferred:

  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certification
  • Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and basic cybersecurity practices
  • Familiarity with supporting banking or credit union operations

Salary Range:
 The base salary range for this position is $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, compensation may include performance-based incentives, bonuses, benefits, and other incentives.
