Responsibilities
Join a team where your technical skills make an immediate impact. Sentinel Technologies is seeking a Tier 1/Tier 2 Help Desk Technician to support a dynamic manufacturing environment as they continue to expand their IT footprint. You will be serving as the go-to resource for end users across both office and production floor operations. In this hands-on role, you'll troubleshoot hardware and software issues, deploy new technology, and help maintain the critical IT infrastructure that keeps this growing business running smoothly. You'll gain exposure to enterprise technologies including Cisco and Juniper networking, Microsoft 365, virtualization platforms, and a wide range of end-user technologies while working alongside a collaborative IT team.
The ideal candidate enjoys solving technical challenges face-to-face, takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service, and thrives in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment.
This is a full-time, onsite position based in Traverse City, Michigan.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience providing Help Desk, Desktop Support, or End User Support in a professional environment
- Proficiency supporting Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint
- Experience supporting or troubleshooting Cisco and/or Juniper networking environments
- Exposure to VMware or other virtualization technologies is a plus
- Working knowledge of wired and wireless network connectivity troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience supporting end-user hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, imaging, deployment, and break/fix activities
- Familiarity with user account administration, onboarding/offboarding processes, and equipment provisioning
- Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to support users across both office and manufacturing environments
- Familiarity working with ticketing systems
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
