IT Engineer

Job Description:

• Responsible for the daily operation of computer peripherals and desktop systems maintenance. Able to independently solve hardware and software problems encountered daily including computer, printer, scanner, monitor, conference meeting equipment, related office and design software etc.                                        
• Responsible for network equipment, internet, and Wi-Fi management and maintenance. Troubleshooting and fix the network issue, ensuring network uptime, security, and maximize network performance. Able to replace, update and program network devices.                                        
• Responsible for new  proposal of  the new network project, submitting requisition, tracking project and working with supplier testing, acceptance, and deliver.                                        
• Responsible for new employee computer setup and release; terminated employee computer revoke.                                        
• Responsible for IT related equipment like hardware and software asset management to ensure IT asset accuracy.                                        
• Security camera system management including user and permission management                                        
• Develops information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions.                                        
• Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.                                        
• Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.                                        
• Investigates problem areas.Follows the software development lifecycle.                                        
• Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.                                        
• Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.                                        
• Improves operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.                                        
• Obtains and licenses software by obtaining required information from vendors, recommending purchases, and testing and approving products.                                        
• Protects operations by keeping information confidential.                                        
• Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.Accomplishes engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed.                                        
• Responsible for managing and maintaining database servers.                                        
• Provide training to new employees, which covers the fundamentals of the company’s ERP system and new online systems for business departments.  Provide software skills training as needed during projects like Plex, MES etc.

Job Requirement:

• 1 to 3 years of manufacturing experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.                                                              
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field.
• Bilingual: English - Chinese (Preferred)                                    
• Extensive knowledge of computer hardware systems.                                    
• Familiarity with general OS systems, Enterprise, programming languages, and Office software.                                    
• Knowledge of LAN and wireless networks.                                    
• Strong SQL Server/general database and SQL understanding                                    
• Strong C#.NET/CSS/JavaScript/HTML5 development experience                                    
• Experience with MS Windows and Unix/Linux                                    
• Be a team player with a positive and helpful attitude towards peers                                    
• Analyzing information; Software design,debugging,documentation,testing,Problem solving, and Teamwork                                    
• Ability to project manage.                                    
• Good communication skills.                                    
• Ability to troubleshoot complex software and hardware issues.                                    
• Knowledge of database and networking security systems
