About the Role

Director, Enterprise Solutions

Position Overview

The Director of Enterprise Solutions is responsible for leading the people, delivery, and execution of enterprise technology solutions that support the organization’s strategic goals and initiatives. This role oversees teams delivering business intelligence, Power Platform solutions, automation, and data integration capabilities while balancing strategic roadmap execution with day-to-day operational leadership. Success in this role requires calm, steady leadership, the ability to manage competing business priorities, and a strong delivery mindset in a demand driven environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

People Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop IT development teams, including performance management, career development, and accountability.
  • Foster a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement across Enterprise Solutions teams.
  • Serve as a primary escalation point for delivery, priority, and support issues, maintaining composure and clarity during high pressure situations.
  • Recruit, select, onboard, and retain top talent; address performance issues as needed.

Delivery, Prioritization & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Own intake, prioritization, and delivery governance for Enterprise Solutions initiatives across BI, Power Apps, automation, and data integration.
  • Balance competing business demands with team capacity, production support needs, and delivery commitments.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with business stakeholders, setting clear expectations around scope, priority, and timelines.
  • Ensure continued momentum on in‑flight and planned work while minimizing disruption to the business.

Technology Strategy & Execution

  • Oversee development and delivery of scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise technology solutions.
  • Drive adoption and delivery decisions for enterprise platforms in partnership with business and IT leadership.
  • Stay current with Power Platform capabilities and modern enterprise technology trends.
  • Work with senior leadership to align technology architecture strategies with organizational goals.
  • Lead and participate in vendor evaluations, architecture reviews, and contract negotiations to ensure cost effective and sustainable solutions.
  • Promote and apply process improvement methodologies to optimize internal systems and delivery practices.

Agile Delivery & Tooling

  • Leverage Agile methodologies to manage work intake, prioritization, and delivery cadence.
  • Utilize tools such as Azure DevOps (DevBoards) or equivalent platforms for backlog management, sprint planning, and delivery transparency.
  • Partner with technical leads to ensure development standards, peer reviews, and best practices are consistently applied.
 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Prior experience as a people manager of IT development teams, with responsibility for delivery, performance management, and team development.
  • Experience supporting or delivering solutions in one or more of the following areas:

Business Intelligence, Power Apps / low code solutions, automation, and data integration.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead calmly and effectively in environments with competing priorities, urgent requests, and production support demands.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery models and modern development management practices.
  • Several years of experience as a functional or team level IT manager, with readiness to step into a broader Director level leadership role.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and decision making skills.
  • Perform other work related job duties as assigned.

Employees are expected to work onsite, which includes non-company locations where we conduct business, the majority of the time to support collaboration, productivity, and business operations according to the schedule set by supervisors and/or branch management."
