Position Overview

We have a need for an IT Administrator in our new Distribution Center based in Carlisle, PA.  This role is critical to ensuring uninterrupted warehouse operations by managing network systems, hardware, and software, and providing end-user support while assisting with other IT projects such as needed. 

 

What you’ll do:

  • Provide Exemplary Customer Service: Providing world-class customer service to warehouse associates for all technical issues, ensuring prompt resolution. This could involve troubleshooting devices like laptops, RF scanners, and printers.
  • Maintain Network Availability: Monitoring and maintaining the network infrastructure to ensure robust and reliable wireless connectivity within the warehouse.
  • Solve Problems: Identifying and resolving complex technical issues, including performing root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.
  • Manage Assets: Configuring, deploying, and maintaining all IT inventory at the warehouse, with a focus on asset management\reporting.
  • Ensure Security: Adhering to and promoting security protocols and standards to protect sensitive data and systems.
  • Promote Continuous Improvement: Assisting in the research and implementation of new technologies and systems designed to improve warehouse processes and overall efficiency.
  • Build Relationships: Fostering communication and coordinating with internal and external teams for technical support and system upgrades.
  • Share Knowledge: Documenting IT processes and solutions, and training warehouse associates on using various IT systems.

Travel:

  • Up to 50% out-of-state travel during the first 60 days for onboarding; up to 10% travel thereafter

Compensation:

  • Compensation for this role is targeted between $70,000 and $85,000 annually. Final compensation may vary based on experience, skills, performance incentives, and internal equity.

Skills We Are Seeking

  • 5+ years of technical support (IT) experience required
  • Extensive Network\WIFI troubleshooting experience required
  • Experience supporting a distribution center preferred
  • Experience using Ekahau wireless analysis software preferred
  • Extensive mobile device support experience
  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
  • Strong technical and analytical aptitude
  • Ability to be on-call as needed
  • Ability to lift items in excess of 40lbs
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Starting pay will depend on factors such as location and experience, and will always meet or exceed applicable state and local minimum wage laws.
