Quartus excels in commercial and defense aircraft applications, as well as custom optical systems like laser communications terminals and lidar payloads with both aerial and space applications.</p><p class="MsoNormal"> </p><h1 class="MsoNormal"><strong>What will you do?</strong></h1><p class="MsoNormal">As an Integration & Test Engineer in our Aerospace sector, you’ll lead the build, alignment and test effort for high-performance optical systems developed for aerospace applications. In this hands-on, technical role you will work with other engineers, technicians and technical program managers to integrate various sub-components and sub-systems into electro-optical payloads, completing optical alignment, functional checks, performance verification, and environmental tests. Any physical location change may impact future employment.</p><p class="MsoNormal"> </p><h1 class="MsoNormal"><strong>What are we looking for?</strong></h1><ul style="margin-top: 0in;" type="disc"><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; tab-stops: list .5in;">BS and/or MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; tab-stops: list .5in;">6+ years of experience in:</li><ul style="margin-top: 0in;" type="disc"><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l1 level2 lfo2; tab-stops: list 1.0in;">Integration and testing of high performance optical systems for aerospace applications</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l1 level2 lfo2; tab-stops: list 1.0in;">Development of AI&T documentation such as work instructions, travelers, alignment procedures and test plans</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l1 level2 lfo2; tab-stops: list 1.0in;">Mechanical, electrical and optical GSE development</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l1 level2 lfo2; tab-stops: list 1.0in;">GD&T application per ASME Y14.5M</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l1 level2 lfo2; tab-stops: list 1.0in;">CAD/CAE software (SolidWorks preferred)</li></ul><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; tab-stops: list .5in;">Experience with optical alignment techniques in a lab setting</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; tab-stops: list .5in;">Experience with supporting environmental tests, such as vibration and TVAC</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; tab-stops: list .5in;">Must be a US Person (U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident) </li></ul><h1><strong>Compensation and Benefits</strong></h1><p class="MsoNormal">Senior Engineer pay range: $114,443 - $190,738*</p><p class="MsoNormal">Lead Engineer pay range: $138,476 - $230,793*</p><p class="MsoNormal">*This range represents base pay.
