As a Help Desk Intern, you will:
- Field first level technical Help Desk requests in a timely manner; communicates regularly with the users of the status of the request.
- Support employees and field staff by answering incoming calls and resolving requests submitted through the ServiceNow ticketing system.
- Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot and repair computer systems; install, repair, or replace components in laptops, desktops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Assist in maintaining the telephone network.
- Assist in maintaining all mobile devices including but not limited to iPhones, Androids, and radios.
- Update and advise supervisor of activities.
- Assist Help Desk with calls and tracking.
What You’ll Bring:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and entering senior year, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in IT, MIS, Computer Science or related discipline.
- Excellent customer service, professionalism, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills including creative problem-solving solutions.
- Ability to multitask, analyze issues and resolve problems quickly with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent working knowledge of Mac OS, Windows 11, as well as current MS Office applications.
- Knowledge of Android and Apple IOS systems.
- Familiar with building, configuring, and troubleshooting PC hardware components.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel occasionally to business locations as needed.
- Position is onsite in the corporate office in Wall, NJ.
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for student visas.
