Job DetailsJob Location: Agua Caliente Gaming Commission - CAPosition Type: Full TimeJob Description Summary
Responsible for assisting with all IT support issues, maintenance of Commission Servers, and Commission Networks, as required by the Agua Caliente Gaming Commission. Assist with ACGC IT Compliance Inspections, projects, reports, and investigations as they relate to the Regulatory Compliance of the Tribal Gaming Operations and Gaming Commission functionality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
Assist ACGC staff with IT issues as directed by the Network Security Specialist.
Reviews of supporting documentation for in-house developed programs and program changes.
Review all Internal Controls generated by the IT department for compliance with existing standards.
Monitoring and audit of recovery procedures of applications and systems.
Periodically review database of IT system documentation (hardware, software, applications, operator manuals) for adequacy.
Performs other job related functions as assigned by the Executive Director.

None.QualificationsEducation and/or Experience
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
2 Years working in an IT environment as a systems administrator
Knowledge of S/W life cycle
Understanding of Networks, Remote access, backup technology, and system security measures (password control etc.)
Use to working as a team member and interacting positively with multiple diverse departments.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
To perform this job successfully the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs/step ladders and sitting at a desk work station for the duration of the shift. Also may be subjected to a smoke filled environment.
Typically the individual will be housed in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but will escalate when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a maximum of 30 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-lined telephone.
