Executive IT Support Specialist

Onsite -Tampa, FL

Ferguson is seeking a highly customer-focused IT professional to serve as the primary on-site IT presence for the Tampa office, providing executive-level support, conference room technology support, and day-to-day end-user IT services. This role is 100% in-office (5 days per week) and operates under remote management, requiring strong independence, accountability, communication skills, and the ability to provide 24/7 support for executive and business-critical technology needs when required.

Location: Tampa, FL | 100% Onsite

This position is based in our Tampa, FL office and requires in-office presence five days per week, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide white-glove IT support for executives, senior leaders, and high-priority users.
• Support laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, docking stations, Microsoft 365, Teams, authentication, connectivity, and enterprise applications.
• Serve as the secondary support resource for conference room technology, including cameras, microphones, speakers, displays, Teams Rooms, and meeting equipment.
• Perform executive meeting setup, pre-meeting technology checks, and real-time meeting support.
• Troubleshoot Windows, macOS, hardware, software, network, and end-user technology issues.
• Manage ServiceNow tickets, documentation, asset management, deployments, equipment replacements, and office technology projects.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal IT teams on installations, repairs, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Maintain regular communication with a remote manager while independently managing priorities and workload.
• Provide after-hours support for executive and business-critical technology issues as needed.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT Support, Desktop Support, Executive Support, Field Support, or related experience.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, Teams, and end-user technology.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, networking, and conference room technology.
• Experience supporting video conferencing platforms and audio/video equipment.
• Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and collaborate effectively with a remote manager and distributed IT team.
• Ability to support occasional after-hours, evening, and weekend business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Executive/VIP support experience.
• Experience supporting conference rooms, Teams Rooms, and collaboration technologies.
• Experience with Windows and macOS.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Intune, Entra ID/Azure AD, Active Directory, and endpoint management.
• Experience working with technology vendors.
• Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or equivalent experience).

Success in This Role

The ideal candidate can independently support executives and employees, ensure conference rooms are meeting-ready, proactively resolve technology issues, maintain strong communication with remote leadership, provide support during critical business situations when needed, and deliver a high-touch IT experience while serving as the local IT presence for the Tampa office. This is a hands-on, five-day-per-week in-office position, not a traditional remote help desk role.
