<p>Franklin County Memorial Hospital is seeking an Entry-Level IT Technician to provide frontline technical support for hospital staff and assist with day-to-day IT operations. This position supports computers, printers, phones, mobile devices, user accounts, software, and other technology used in patient care and hospital operations.</p><p>This role is well suited for someone beginning their IT career who is dependable, professional, customer-service oriented, and willing to learn in a healthcare environment.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Provide first-level support for desktops, laptops, printers, phones, mobile devices, and related hospital technology.</li><li>Respond to help desk tickets, phone calls, and in-person support requests in a timely and professional manner.</li><li>Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, network connectivity, printing, and user account issues.</li><li>Assist with equipment setup, deployment, relocation, replacement, inventory tracking, and asset tagging.</li><li>Install and update approved software under the direction of IT leadership.</li><li>Assist with onboarding and offboarding tasks, including preparing equipment and user access.</li><li>Document issues, troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and equipment changes in the ticketing or inventory system.</li><li>Support common systems such as Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, email, printers, and other business applications.</li><li>Follow IT policies, security procedures, and confidentiality requirements, including HIPAA-related expectations.</li><li>Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff, vendors, or leadership as appropriate.</li><li>Participate in IT projects and other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><p>High school diploma or equivalent required.</p><p>Basic understanding of computers, Windows operating systems, printers, networking concepts, and common office software.</p><p>Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.</p><p>Preferred Qualifications</p><p>Previous help desk, technical support, or customer service experience.</p><p>CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or other entry-level IT certification.</p>
