The Enterprise Client System Administrator I is responsible for the management, administration, and maintenance of assigned client infrastructure systems and ancillary applications that support all Woodforest client devices (desktops, tablets, laptops, and VDI).
Key Responsibilities:
· Manages client-related technology across the environment; monitors daily performance and performs health checks on said technologies; develops and adheres to processes, which increase user experience and maintain stability.
· Diagnoses, troubleshoots and provides technical resolution to performance issues and incident events related to the client infrastructure.
· Researches current and emerging technologies in order to evaluate, develop, and implements new solutions that meet business service-level objectives.
· Cross trains in order to serve as a backup resource to team members.
· Performs other job related duties or special projects as assigned.
Competencies Required
· Understanding of VDI and virtualized environments.
· Knowledgeable of Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, System Center, PowerShell etc.
· Technical and troubleshooting skills with administration knowledge of VMware VSphere and Horizon View
· Understanding of software deployment engines (Microsoft Configuration Manager/ RES One) and user personalization concepts (RES One Workspace Manager).
· Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with and convey information to internal and external parties who possess varying levels of understanding on applicable topics.
· Organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage timelines and prioritize workload in a high-pressure, results-oriented environment.
· Self-starter with the ability to work independently while supporting a team environment.
· Flexibility to provide after hours and weekend support on occasion to support business needs.
· Resourceful and highly adept at problem identification and incident resolution using experience and developed analytical skills.
Minimum Qualifications/Experience
· 3-7 years of experience in a technology support role with exposure to virtualized environments required.
· 3-7 years of experience administrating or supporting enterprise-level client platforms required.
· Financial services or banking industry experience preferred.
Formal Education & Certification
· Associate’s degree in Technology, Information Systems or related field; OR an equivalent amount of technical certification courses required.
Work Status
· Full-Time.

· None.

· 0%25 - Negligible amount of travel expected.
Working Conditions
· Conditions involve lifting more than ten pounds, sitting most of the time, but may involve walking, moving, or standing for brief periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying articles like files, servers, peripherals, etc.
