End User & Field IT Support Technician

We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and customer-focused End User & Field IT Support Technician to serve as our dedicated local IT presence across Curaçao. Acting as the on-the-ground "hands and feet" for our global/regional IT team, you will provide day-to-day technical support for laptops and desktops, as well as perform on-site troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs for in-store interactive kiosks and point-of-sale (POS) equipment.

Technical Skills:
Strong working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and macOS operating systems, as well as standard office software.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting PC/laptop hardware, printers, and peripheral devices.
Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, DHCP, DNS, physical cabling/patching).
Comfort working with tools to open, inspect, and swap hardware components inside kiosks or desktop units under remote direction.

You will work closely with remote L2/L3 engineers who will provide guidance on complex repairs and network issues. This role requires regular local travel between our offices and retail/store locations across Curaçao.

End User Computing (Laptop & Desktop Support)
Provide first- and second-line on-site technical support for employees' laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, and mobile devices.
Perform hardware provisioning, OS imaging/installation (Windows/macOS), software setup, and peripheral configuration for new hires and existing staff.
Troubleshoot hardware malfunctions, operating system errors, office productivity suites (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace), and basic connectivity issues.
Coordinate warranty repairs and hardware replacements with external vendors.

Store Kiosk & On-Site "Hands & Feet" Support
Travel to retail/store locations across Curaçao to install, inspect, maintain, and repair self-service kiosks and store IT equipment.
Partner with remote technical teams via phone/video to execute guided troubleshooting, physical cabling, component swaps (e.g., touchscreens, receipt printers, card readers, internal PCs), and system reboots.
Act as the eyes and ears for remote network and infrastructure teams—checking server/network closets, patching cables, and verifying router/switch/access point status lights when needed.

Asset & Ticket Management
Log, track, and update all support requests, incidents, and maintenance activities accurately within the IT Service Management (ITSM) ticketing system.
Maintain an accurate inventory of local IT assets, spare parts, cables, and replacement devices across Curaçao locations.
Ensure compliance with company IT security policies during device setups and disposals.
