Raytheon is seeking a talented and motivated Principal Systems Integration and Test Engineer to join our team within the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) Discipline, supporting various Electronic Warfare (EW) and Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) Systems.  This role offers a unique opportunity to work across the full lifecycle of the product, from concept to deployment.

Every day will bring new challenges, requiring you to collaborate across disciplines to troubleshoot issues, perform data analysis, and implement solutions. Your contributions will directly impact the success of mission-critical defense systems, and you'll have a hands-on role in ensuring the entire system functions seamlessly.

What You Will Do:

  • Generate test plans/procedures for assessing Electronic Warfare (EW) system performance
  • Execute IV&V activities for multidisciplinary Integration and Test teams.
  • Execute in-house and off-site test activities for system demonstrations and/or system sell-off.
  • Brief senior program management and engineering leadership.
  • Test EW hardware and software builds.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
  • Experience in radar threat analysis or Electronic Warfare technique development/analysis.
  • Experience in verification and validation of system and/or subsystem requirements.
  • Leadership experience
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • RF experience and knowledge of microwave modules
  • Flight Test experience
  • Experience with Special Test Equipment interfacing with prime hardware for test activities
  • Experience with hardware delivery and software development principles
  • Experience with security requirements related to government testing

The hourly range for this role is $70.00 - $133.07 per hour. The compensation range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
