About the Role

Description

Imaging & Configuration

• Image and re-image laptops and desktops per Client standards

• Apply required configurations, applications, and updates

Decommissioning & Asset Handling

• Disconnect and pack decommissioned equipment using Client-provided materials

• Support inventory tracking and proper handling assets

Troubleshooting & Support

• Provide on-site troubleshooting with guidance from Client IT

• Deliver “Smart Hands” support following documented procedures

Printer Support (As Needed)

• Support basic setup of standard printers

• Specialized printers (e.g., barcode, plotters, high-speed printers) must be specified in advance and may require additional scope and cost considerations

3. Roles & Responsibilities

Desktop Technicians

• Execute assigned tasks under Client direction

• Follow all documented procedures and standards

• Provide timely updates on task completion and issues

• Maintain professionalism and strong customer service during all user interactions

Client (Global IT Team)

• Provide task assignments, instructions, and escalation support

• Supply necessary equipment, imaging standards, and documentation

• Coordinate scheduling and prioritization of move activities

4. Required Skills & Qualifications

Desktop Technicians must demonstrate:

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic PC and connectivity issues with guidance from the Service Desk

• Experience with desktop hardware installation and configuration

• Ability to follow detailed technical instructions and documentation

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Professional communication and customer service skills

• A structured and methodical approach to problem-solving

5. Deliverables

• Successful setup and configuration of end-user workstations

• Completion of all assigned IMAC activities

• Accurate handling and packing of decommissioned equipment

• Support for user migrations with minimal disruption

• Timely reporting of issues, risks, and completion status

6. Schedule & Coverage

• Project Duration: May 25, 2026 – June 19, 2026

• Work hours and shifts to be defined based on move schedule and business needs

• Flexibility required for extended hours or weekend support during peak move periods

7. Assumptions & Dependencies

• All equipment, licenses, and imaging standards will be provided by the Client

• Tasks will be clearly defined and assigned by the Client IT team

• Access to facilities and systems will be provisioned in advance

• Any specialized equipment support will be scoped separately if required

8. Success Criteria

• Seamless transition with minimal user disruption

• Workstations fully operational upon user arrival

• Timely completion of move-related activities

• Positive end-user experience and support feedback

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
